Agreed Greg, and when I get some time tonight, I will have a post addressing the very questions you asked, so stay tuned. As for Savvy, and Alberts. How in the world does Alberts get a crosschecking out of that, and Boston gets the extra minor? Baffling.

They gelled a whole lot sooner than I thought Chris, last nights game was a great one, reminded me of the Dallas game last year which I thought was a turning point for them. I've got one question for you, why do people think it's a good idea to start with Lucic and Thornton? Both of them looked like gold glovers last night. I also was really impressed with Savvy goin after Alberts on that high cross on Sturm. Very happy with the way they look, great passing, great tenacity. It's gonna be a good season.

Nail on the head Greg. Bergie is back for sure, and they Bruins were out shot 2-1. Can't win hockey games like that.

I have to say I'm not concerned Chris, it's game one, these lines have did not really play together to much in the preseason. Things I did like, Krecji was all over the puck after not playing in the preseason, Morris and Begin both showed decently and also showed they weren't afraid to hit. These guys will find the night, it took them two weeks last year to gel, I don't think it will be any different this year.

LOL. I bet it's gone now. Bad showing by the black and gold last night, although Shawn Thornton continues to impress.

Boston and Washington will both come into tonight’s opener with the weight of huge expectations on their shoulders after both lost out in the second round of the playoffs last season.
I feel like Steve Carell calling the Viagra people about having an erection lasting more than four hours. I didn't take any Viagra, but I've had a chubby for three days in anticipation for this game!
